JOIN ACTION ASYLUM AT SOUTHSEA GREEN
Southsea Green aims to provide a platform for individuals to connect to their communities and develop meaningful relationships while pursuing volunteer opportunities that enhance and improve the environment. Our primary goal is to help those seeking refuge by connecting them with the surrounding community and providing opportunities to work alongside local people through shared skills and interests.
With our range of gardening projects, we aim to provide a space for shared learning and collaboration that highlights the benefits of a place to preserve plants and wildlife. Our program offers volunteer opportunities and shared learning experiences that allow asylum seekers to contribute to, and improve, the environment through gardening projects and the development of green spaces.
At Southsea Green, we focus on creating engaging, collaborative spaces that encourage socialisation and connection while developing an appreciation for nature. Gardening offers an opportunity for asylum seekers to connect with the earth while also promoting their own well-being and transferrable skills.
