Watering Each Other’s Seedlings

The community garden has been a busy place lately with families and children sharing the jobs and watering each other’s seedlings. There's plenty of new veggies sprouting on the plots. New scarecrows by our friends Catch 22 Portsmouth who have also been painting the benches, and we have been re-discovering the pond - which is teeming with wildlife.

We have a poorly fox lodging in our straw bed at the bottom of the garden, so the coffee sack construction has stalled while it gets better. If there's a clever water wizard out there, we need a little help with our water butts which are not filling properly from our slopy roof. And the garden needs plenty water over summer.

If you can help with anything call us on 07484197065 or pop in when gate is open...
